Pay Range: $60K - $75K annual salary

Description of Responsibilities:

Kahuna is seeking an electrical engineer for an entry-level position. This role will support and receive on-the-job training from experienced professional electrical engineers and project managers designing industrial facilities in the energy industry. Responsibilities include:

  • Medium and low voltage power system design.
  • PLC-based process control/automation and communication system design.
  • Project engineering and technical tasks supporting Lead Electrical Engineers (client interaction and job scoping, equipment specification, engineering calculations and drawing reviews, contractor bidding, onsite construction inspection, system commissioning and troubleshooting assistance, project management).

Required Qualifications/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent combined education and experience.
  • Strong work ethic, and willingness/ability to travel to field project locations.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills as well as attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and able to quickly react to changing priorities and deadlines.
